Spring has FINALLY come and with it’s arrival several things are happening here on the farm.  For starters the hens are back on the lay and we are flush with eggs.  Today is also baby chick day 🙂 .  I will be heading into town shortly to pickup our first batch of meat birds for this year.  I am excited to get out of winter chores and get into summer chores.  Soon I will be removing and rebuilding fencing, moving cows from pasture to pasture, building another bird pen, moving, repairing, using and repairing all the new to us equipment that we purchased this winter, watch for updates on all the new gear in the coming days and weeks.
