do not use if using salted butter<\/li><li>500g general purpose flour<\/li><li>4 tsp white sugar<\/li><li>2 tbsp baking powder<\/li><li>12 tbsp unsalted butter (cold and cubed) &#8211; salted butter can be used just omit the 1 tsp salt<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-62d5fe6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"62d5fe6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Instructions<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-64fa725 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"64fa725\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t<ol><li>Put flour, baking powder, sugar and salt (do not add salt if using salted butter) in a bowl and mix<\/li><li>Put cubed butter in mixing bowl and cut the butter into the flour with a pastry knife until the butter is slightly small than a pea<\/li><li>Add milk and mix with a spoon to form a shaggy sticky dough<\/li><li>Turn about half the dough out of the bowl onto a lightly floured work surface and smash it flat-ish with your hand.\u00a0 sprinkle some flour on the top of the dough so your rolling pin won&#8217;t stick and an roll to about 1\/4&#8243; thick.<\/li><li>Fold the dough back over it&#8217;s self and cut out the dough with a water glass.\u00a0 Keep doing this until you are out of dough.<\/li><li>Put the cut out dough on a cookie sheet.\u00a0 I have been told that others line the cookie sheet with parchment paper but I never saw the point of that, do as you feel you must.<\/li><li>Bake at 425F for 15-ish minutes.\u00a0 If you are baking more than one sheet of biscuits at a time remember to set a timer and frog your cookie sheets half way though.\u00a0 You will know when they are done because the bottoms of the biscuits will be starting to turn light brown.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients 354ml cold milk (butter milk is preferred, we keep powdered butter milk on hand for these sorts of things \ud83d\ude42 ) 1 tsp salt &#8211;
